The Lititz Historical Foundation is staging the 52nd Annual Lititz Antiques Show on Friday and Saturday June 27 and 28. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s Johannes Mueller House erected in 1792 and the 1793 Christian Schropp House.
The annual two day event will be held at Bonfield Elementary School, 101 North Oak Street, Lititz, Pennsylvania 17543.
Attendees will find a well established 40 vendor show, bristling with country goods in air-conditioned comfort. Running with the show, concurrently with the antiques mart, the LHF Membership Baker’s Club will offer delicious homemade baked goods including pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and more–many baked from well guarded family recipes.
Forty selected dealers from several states will offer quality items possessed of a country flair; featuring diverse and multiple categories which include: textiles,samplers, hooked rugs, primitives, tin, stoneware, red ware, children’s toys, fine early pottery and porcelain, silver, kitchen items, a large variety of smalls, ephemera, quilts and coverlets, dolls, holiday items, early glass, homemade items and make do’s. Also for sale will be country primitives including paint decorated and grain decorated furniture retaining original surface. Count on a deep well of diverse lively offerings!
Paid antique show visitors are entitled to free admission to tour the historic Johannes Mueller House (1792) and adjacent Schropp House (1793) Museum. Tours are led by costumed docents. Museum grounds and houses are located a short drive or walk from the show site. They include well kept attractive rear gardens as well as an 18th century, colonial atmosphere with Moravian roots.
Show hours are Friday, June 27, 10-5 and Saturday June 28, 10-4. Admission is $8 or $7 with an ad or card.
