Lititz Historical Foundation to Observe 54th Annual Antiques Show

The Lititz Historical Foundation is pleased to announce this annual fund raiser to benefit the 1792 Johannes Mueller House, their 54th Annual Antiques Show!

Lancaster County’s oldest show of its kind and always a perennial favorite, the fundraiser will be staged in the Warwick Middle School (104 Maple Street) in Lititz June 24-25.

Promoted as an “old time country show” a cast of nearly 50 dealers will present a wide range of interesting, reasonably priced country wares and dry goods. Shoppers can expect to find farm items, stoneware, kitchen goods, textiles, early lighting, transfer ware, doll items, coin silver, holiday items, Pennsylvania folk art, and more!

The well-established show attracts dealers and shoppers from across the northeast as well as the Atlantic seaboard and as far south as South Carolina. Other participating states include New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware; as well as a large cadre of dealers from Pennsylvania.

A fact worth noting is the extraordinary loyalty base of the dealer pool. A surprising 32% of dealers have done this show for at least one decade. Several vendors are in a second or even third decade of perfect participation. Such is a remarkable achievement and also includes a super loyal shopper crowd.

Hungry shoppers will have an opportunity to purchase a delicious variety of freshly prepared food, smoked meats and pulled pork as well as vegetarian choices from a well-known local food truck service set up outdoors adjacent to the show entrance. This food may be eaten indoors at the cafeteria.

And shoppers with a sweet tooth can indulge in fresh, homemade¬† baked goods executed by experts from the foundation’s bakers group. Many of the selections are baker specialties made from family recipes, some allegedly a secret. These treats are delightful. They should not be missed.
