Violin Master Craftsman and Historian To Make Stop in Lititz

Join us on Friday, September 9th as we host Jeffrey Reider, violin historian and proprietor of Reider’s Violin House located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The event will take place at our museum from 5-8:30pm.

Reider is a luthier, archetier and master craftsman, with over 25 years of experience. He also comes from a musical background and grew up in a family of craftsmen. He also repairs and restores violins, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Come learn more about the fascinating history of this instrument, which has been prevalent in the Lititz Moravian community for generations.

The event is all part of Second Friday in Lititz. Our museum and gift shop, located at 145 East Main Street, will also be open that evening. Light refreshments will also be served.

Shown below are just some of Reider’s violins.
