Join us for a free concert and free ice cream in our Mary Oehme Gardens in September!
On Sunday September 3rd, bring your lawn chairs and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy a relaxing evening in our gardens.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Rizzetta’s tones, a great Celtic and Folk band from Lancaster, PA.
The event is scheduled from 6:30pm – 8pm.
**We will also host an old-fashioned cake walk – more details coming soon!**
The evening is sponsored by Woodstream Corporation.
From the band’s website:
Rizzetta’s Tones is a Celtic and Folk band, comprised of ‘fraternal twin’ hammer dulcimers, silver flute, high and low whistles, and guitars. We often spice up our sound with button accordian, autoharp, Greek bouzouki, mandolin, ukulele, as well as doumbek, cajon, djembe, and other percussion instruments (yes, even frogs!) All four members take turns singing lead and background vocals on songs, both poignant and humorous. Our repertoire includes music from Ireland, Scotland, and the United States, drawing as well from the traditions of Finland, Brazil, France, Macedonia, and many other lands.
Call the historical foundation at 717-627-4636 with any questions.
See you there!
